A lot of Jade's life before she arrived at her parent's doorstep is unknown beyond a letter tacked onto her blanket saying "Jade", but she seems to be relatively fine with it, as she was adopted by two Roegadyn, Shining Moon and Bright Ring. Having forsaken their surnames long ago, they combined their names together to give a surname to their daughter so that she always feels connected to them wherever she goes, but not let her own achievements be overshadowed by people who came before her.At the moment, Jade is unsure of her destiny. She has a feeling she must protect the people, to help those in need and to fight for what's right - this feeling has lead her to the path of the Paladin currently, however she is not against the idea of trying other jobs, to see what she'd be happiest with.
